an invitation to slow and pause

It seems so many things are whizzing around me, moving so quickly, it’s like I’m spinning in a few circles before I steady myself and my view becomes clear again.

Life’s activities, regardless of how exciting or rewarding they might be, can keep us distracted from where our true focus needs to be.

As we move through Holy Week, we’re invited into a sacred pause - a moment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.

In the quiet, we often hear what the noise of everyday life drowns out.

We remember the deeper purpose we hold, the value of our relationships, our work, and our personal journey.

Slowing down isn’t easy, but it’s in this very stillness that clarity often comes.

Perhaps we have a vision to accomplish some really great things, but amidst the steps to get there, daily responsibilities or unexpected circumstances are still part of the equation and keep us in motion, surrounded by noise, and distracted.

So now what?

Push through? Re-evaluate? Postpone? Give up? Make excuses?

The choice is yours and yours alone, just as it’s only mine for my situations.

One thing I’ve learned is, if we want to move forward, to propel to the next level, we have to slow down.

Might sound counterproductive, but it’s true.

You’re invited to slow down - to take a brief pause, a deep breath, and soak in a glimpse of the people, places, and activities that fill your heart.

This is also when coaching has been a meaningful part of my journey.

In seasons of reflection, having someone walk beside us can help illuminate the path ahead. Whether you’re discerning what’s next or simply trying to be present, coaching creates space to process, explore, and grow with intention.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105

May this week bring you peace, renewal, and a gentle reminder that you are not walking alone.

With Care,

Katie and Kristan

If you’re feeling the pull to pause and consider what’s next, we invite you to schedule a coaching conversation. Whether you’re in a season of change, or seeking clarity, let's explore the path ahead together - with intention and grace.
